After earning his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Vermont, Harry earned his Master’s degree in Economics from The State University of New York at Buffalo. After finishing the Master’s program, Harry traveled to The University of Arizona to take additional accounting and tax courses. Upon completing his course work and military service, Harry joined Arthur Andersen & Company in Phoenix, Arizona where he gained valuable experience in a variety of areas. After four years, Arthur Andersen & Company offered a transfer to New Jersey. After spending a total of five years with Arthur Andersen & Company Harry accepted a position with The Liggett Group, in its tax department where he reviewed tax laws and compliance. After four years with the Liggett Group, Harry relocated to Rochester, New York to return to Arthur Andersen & Company. In 1985, Harry opened his practice in Pittsford, New York. Harry has been licensed in New York State as a Certified Public Accountant since 1974. Today Harry I. Sealfon, CPA, PC proudly serves customers located in New York, Florida, California, Arizona, North Carolina, and several other states and international locations.
Harry has served as Treasurer for several community organizations including: Pittsford Little League, Pittsford PTSA, Pittsford Youth Services and Historic Pittsford.
Harry enjoys traveling, playing golf, swimming, boxing and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Nancy B. Pool, Senior Accountant
While working full-time Nancy earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and M.B.A. from The Rochester Institute of Technology. Nancy has over 25 years of accounting and finance experience and has held several senior management positions during her tenures at PAETEC Communications, a telecommunications company; Merrill Lynch, a finance/investment Firm; and Wegmans Food Markets, Inc., a world-class rated food store chain. While working for PAETEC, Nancy earned her Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation. Nancy joined our firm in January of 2007 as a Senior Accountant. Nancy brings both variety and depth of financial and business expertise and we are proud to have her on our team.
Nancy is currently the President of the Association For Financial Professionals of Western New York. She also participates in various local fundraisers and charitable causes.
Nancy enjoys traveling, gardening, reading and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Marguerite Ashby, Senior Accountant
Marguerite has over 20 years of business experience. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from The Rochester Institute of Technology. She has worked for several companies including Xerox Corporation, Walt Disney World and Wegmans Food Markets, where she met Nancy in the Finance/Accounting department. In 1989 Marguerite launched her own company, Five Star “Personalized” Travel. In 1999, Marguerite sold her multi-million dollar business to pursue other opportunities. After selling her business, Marguerite enjoyed working for Global Crossing a telecommunications company as an International Purchasing Consultant. While at Global Crossing, Marguerite earned her Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)Certificate. After two years of successful international contract negotiation and renewals, Marguerite accepted a two year full-time Business teaching position at Genesee Community College, where she had the opportunity to share her business/entrepreneurial experience and provide the foundation for students to explore their own sense of goals and objectives to someday open their own business. Marguerite also worked as an Inside Sales Engineer for Metro Circuits, a local manufacturer of circuit boards that are shipped around the globe. Throughout her career, Marguerite has obtained experience in the service industry, telecommunications industry, higher education and manufacturing environment. Today she is part of the Sealfon Team and looks forward to working with individuals and small businesses.
Marguerite is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals of Western New York and is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and Lifetime member of the Hospitality Society of RIT.
Marguerite enjoys traveling, golfing, bike riding , reading and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Brittany Aloi – 2008 College Intern

Brittany is a native of Pittsford, New York and graduated from Pittsford Sutherland High School in 2006. She currently attends Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where she is an Accounting Major. She is also a member of Delta Gamma Sorority and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, Secretary and Historian of Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, and an Academic Assistance Tutor. This fall, she will be participating in a study abroad program and traveling to Paderno del Grappa, Italy for the entire fall semester.
Brittany works on the Sealfon Team as a College Intern and provides support with all tax preparation and research. We look forward to receiving communication from Brittany during her studies overseas.
